mental diet

 

what kind of diet do you have YOUR mind on?

one of headline news?

and

‘current events’?

constant technological interference

flashing this and that?

or

do you tune that shit out?

choosing instead to nourish your mind

with uplifting entertainment

nature

and

love.

 

think about the waves of ‘news’

coming at you

and

thru you

affecting the sensitive network

of cellular

and

energetic ’tissues’

in and around your body.

 

it doesn’t feel good, right?

so why would it serve you?

 

imagine what day in day out

time and time again

exposing yourself to a mental diet

of information designed to lower your energy

lower your spirits

lower your everything, really.

lower keeps us controllable.

lower keeps us NOT in our power.

lower keeps us

LOW.

hmmmm??

 

now

think about gazing upon the beauty in your life.

the beauty of nature

or

human kindness.

it exists everywhere

no matter where you live.

ahhh, that feels better, right?

 

what about the mental diet of your inner life.

what do you feed yourself with?

how do you nourish?

 

do you think about the what if’s and the should of’s?

do you tell yourself you are not good enough

not deserving

not this and that

and

on and on forever.

 

most of us are on a doozy of a mental diet

depleting instead of nourishing

the very foundation of our lives!

yes! i said foundation.

cause SO much starts in the brain

in our thoughts

that can contribute to our ‘success’

or

our demise.

 

it takes training

and

discipline 

to change this.

 

if you are like me

i get all IN to something for a couple of weeks

and

then i lose interest

or

fade out.

 

people

this behavior does NOT make the changes we seek.

we MUST follow thru.

we MUST stick to these practices that change us.

there are o so many tools out there to shift your inners.

use them!

(i Nugget about them all the time)

 

i have been practicing

and

have been very disciplined

as of late.

gosh i’m proud of myself.

i am following thru

cause i am damn determined

to shift.

and shift i will.

and shifting i am!

 

we MUST believe in who we are

and

that we are here to do great things

both on the individual level

and

the collective.

 

we MUST nourish our beings

on EVERY level

so that we can move forward

and

be lifted.

 

the crushing blow

of a junk food mental diet

ripples out to all levels of our life

and

beingness.

 

to change the mind

we must change the mind!

we must un-learn

our conditioning

and start fresh

with a clean slate.

 

this takes constant attention to

(i’m not kidding)

our thoughts

and

what we are consuming

both

from the outside

and

the inside.

 

take back your power.

defeat only exists within.

 

floss your brain.

get all the rotting chunks out.

start fresh.

pay attention to what you mentally consume.

change it if it feels bad.

learn to notice when it feels bad.

pay attention!

 

give yourself the delicious nourishment

and

solid foundation

of

kind thoughts

and

gentle entertainment.

humor freaking rocks.

make sure to add LOTS of that too.

 

ahhhh.

you get the idea now, right?!

you can do this.

we can do this.

wow

did you just feel that wave of realization

wash over the planet?

we are waking.

 

see the beauty.

think good thoughts.

may Peace (and the Force) be with you.
