this does not mean that i am suggesting
that you do not make your choices wisely….
in this context
is how i am suggesting that you react
to your life situations.
someone cuts you off in traffic.
your car breaks down.
you break your arm.
i am not saying that the things that happen to us are insignificant
i am simply suggesting that you take a more NON reactive approach.
i have witnessed drivers getting SO angry
when someone turns in front of them
a restaurant customer blowing up at their server
for this or that.
fully stressing out!!
these are not things to stress over.
when someone is blowing up at random times
there is a deeper issue
but we can take this practice everywhere in to our lives.
i’m gonna let you in on a dirty little secret.
we have control over our emotions.
WE HAVE CONTROL OVER OUR EMOTIONS!!
we don’t have to re-act to anything and everything.
we don’t have to be bullied by our circumstance.
we don’t have to waste our precious energy
expending our emotions irresponsibly.
part of our evolution
as i see it
is learning to become
extremely efficient in our bodies.
emotional outbursts can expend mucho energy-o.
wouldn’t that energy be better served healing our bodies?
upgrading our bodies!
geesh! this can be exhausting sometimes.
this does not mean that you don’t care.
it simply means that you are unwilling to expend energy
in a place where it will be wasted.
give yourself a much needed break
stop leaning IN to the reaction so much.
it’s ok to just be peaceful.
ride the tides of life and of what comes up within.
acknowledge the passing storm
allow it to pass.
be the eye.
it just FEELS better!!!
